The Library Cafe Ghana
The Library Cafe Ghana is more than a project. It is a platform of excellence that highlights the greatness of African people and a vision for a world where we tell the story of who we are and where we've been without apology. LCG is a place where all people are welcome to come and share in the experiences of love and laughter, strivings and struggles, highs and lows, as we discover together, the beauty of what it means to be African. 100 Black Authored Books for Children
FEW is providing 100 Black Authored books for children and one projector to ten (10) English speaking schools, libraries and/or reading rooms around the world. In addition, FEW will provide a series of online programming opportunities that include Read-Alouds, Author Talks, PenPals Across the World, Make & Take workshops, plus optional lesson plans for teaching with the texts. Our purpose is to uplift and heal African children. By giving them a connection with African stories and images from African people; we foster unity, educate, restore legacy and build community. This project will also financially bless and promote our African children's books authors for their outstanding contributions, NOW! Apply to be a candidate at the link over there. There is also a link to help Black Authors understand ways they can participate.
What Can You, the General Public Do?
Volunteer to work with this project. Sponsor a book, DONATE $200 for a box of 10-12 copies of your Favorite Book from BAB4 Children's BOOK LIST (created by FEW) and spread the word! Each one reach one is the order of the day until we get all of the boxes of books paid in full, and every Candidate has received and is powerfully implementing all facets of this project. 365 Bedtime Stories & Lullabies
Our children deserve sweet dreams and a good night's sleep. Parents have busy schedules and busy lives that stretch way beyond bedtime. Often they miss out on reading to their children, or perhaps singing them a lullaby to let them know how much they are loved. FEW, has a solution. We're commissioning some of the best, most amazing readers, storytellers, singers, musicians, songwriters and just plain everyday moms, dads, grand-moms, granddads.... people. All those who wish to give our children an opportunity for sweet dreams! Each completed video will be loaded onto the FEW's YouTube Channel, until all 365 are available for FREE. If you'd like to get involved with this project contact us. We're waiting. Until then, sleep well!

The Haiti Project
THE HAITI PROJECT IS AT A COMPLETE STANDSTILL! WE HAVE BEEN FORCED TO PUT THE BREAKS ON THE HAITI PROJECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO THE CIVIL UNREST (WAR) GOING ON THERE. WE ARE STILL CONTINUING TO MONITOR WHAT'S HAPPENING AND ARE POISED TO ACT IMMEDIATELY WHEN THINGS BEGIN TO OPEN UP AGAIN. LET'S OFFER CONTINUAL PRAYERS FOR OUR BELOVED HAITI.

PROJECT UPDATE
THIS PROJECT IS ON ITS WAY TO COMPLETION! WE WERE ABLE TO RAISE $2,500 FOR THE SLAB WITH A PORCELAIN PICTURE AND A FEW SENTENCES ABOUT MACEO'S LIFE. THE PROCESS TAKES ABOUT SIX MONTHS FROM THE TIME CONSTRUCTION ON THE SLAB BEGINS. AND WE HAD OUR FIRST MEETING WITH MR. MCMILLAN ON OCTOBER 1, 2022. WE ARE STILL WORKING WITH MR. MCMILLAN,, THE FUNERAL HOME DIRECTOR IN LUMBERTON , NC (MACEO'S HOME TOWN) TO COMPLETE THE TASK. HERE'S A PICTURE OF THE TWO OF US AT OUR MEETING . WE'LL KEEP YOU POSTED.
